In the Spring of 2019, and in the spirit of inner exploration, I ventured to India to become a qualified Yoga instructor.

Following a tradition spanning thousands of years, I am delighted and excited to bring this ancient practice from the Himalayan foothills of Rishikesh back to my home where I can share its benefits to friends, family, and clients alike.

My approach is quite simple, though – to tackle the malaise of modern living. To invite deeper states of peace into our every day, to help reduce anxiety, stress, depression, whilst shining the light of awareness on subconscious tendencies. For me, Yoga is the ultimate tool to bring light to life.

I practice a reflective, meditative, and philosophical form of Hatha Yoga, specialising in asana, meditation, and pranayama. By anchoring one’s awareness in the breath, the mental-emotional fluctuations of the mind can be quietened, and the road to peace, bliss, and dare I say, enlightenment, is illuminated.

Traditionally, Yoga was taught in a “guru-disciple” format, and this remains one of greatest way to offer bespoke, focused, and personal mentoring to what is a highly rewarding and challenging approach to wellbeing. By taking responsibility for ourselves we can begin to understand the ways in which we sabotage our own happiness through unconscious or repetitive thought patterns.
